Course Requirements

General Requirements:

  1. Age Requirement:

    • Applicants must be 18 years of age or older at the time of course commencement.

  2. English Language Proficiency:

    • International students must provide proof of English language proficiency through recognized tests such as IELTS, PTE, or equivalent.

    • The typical requirement is an IELTS score of 6.0 overall, with no individual band score less than 5.5, or an equivalent score in other tests like PTE.

    • The English test result must be valid within the last two years at the time of the visa application.

  3. Exemptions: Exemptions from the English language proficiency requirement may apply if:

    • The applicant holds a passport from one of the following English-speaking countries: UK, USA, Canada, New Zealand, or the Republic of Ireland.

    • The applicant is enrolled in a principal course of study that is a registered school course, a standalone English Language Intensive Course for Overseas Students (ELICOS), a course registered to be delivered in a language other than English, or a post-graduate research course.

    • The applicant has completed at least five years of study in English in one or more of the following countries: Australia, UK, USA, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa, or the Republic of Ireland.

  4. In-House English Test:

    • Some institutions may offer their own in-house English Placement Test as an alternative to IELTS or other language proficiency tests.
