Course Overview

Course Requirements

1. Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
2. Academic requirement: Completion of Australian Year 10 or its overseas equivalent.
3. Proof of English language proficiency is required.

Accepted tests include IELTS, PTE, and similar assessments. For IELTS, an overall score of 6.0 with no band below 5.5 is required. The test result must be valid within 2 years at the time of the visa application. Some educational institutions offer an in-house English Placement Test to meet the entry requirements.

Exemptions apply if:
– The applicant holds a passport from the UK, USA, Canada, New Zealand, or the Republic of Ireland.
– The applicant is enrolled in a registered school course, a standalone English Language Intensive Course for Overseas Students (ELICOS), a course taught in a language other than English, or a registered postgraduate research program.
– The applicant has completed at least 5 years of study in English in any of the following countries: Australia, UK, USA, Canada, New Zealand, South Africa, or the Republic of Ireland.
